Santa Cruz bank robbed Tuesday afternoon

SANTA CRUZ, Calif.

The suspect entered the bank at 1551 Pacific Ave. at 3:40 p.m. and demanded cash from the teller. He said he didn't want bills with a dye-pack or GPS device.

The clerk handed over the money and the suspect walked out of the bank onto Pacific Avenue and fled south.

No weapon was seen and no one was injured, police said. The suspect was described as a white man between 20 and 25 years old, standing about 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing about 160 pounds with brown hair, a pockmarked complexion and scruffy facial hair.

He was wearing a gray Chicago White Sox baseball hat, black sunglasses, a black hoodie with "Santa Cruz" skateboards logo, blue jeans and black shoes.
