Surveillance video may show Oakland sideshow shooter

OAKLAND, Calif.

One of those victims, a 25-year-old woman from Walnut Creek, is in grave condition and on life support after being shot in the head.

Two men, one from Oakland and the other from Hayward, sustained non-life threatening injuries.

Witnesses say someone sprayed the crowd with gunfire at about 2:30 a.m. after a party bus tried to drive through the sideshow at 106th Avenue and MacArthur Boulevard.

Sources at Highland Hospital told ABC7 News the three victims were hit by a total of 18 shots.

Oakland police would not comment on this shooting on camera, but told us they do have a strategy to deal with these sideshows. They say they'll announce that strategy on Monday.
