Bevan Dufty won't be SF Pride grand marshal

Former San Francisco Supervisor Bevan Dufty has turned down an offer to be one the grand marshal's for this year's pride parade.

Dufty says he wanted to take part, but doesn't feel it's the right time.

Dufty won't say if his decision was based on the controversy surrounding Bradley Manning, the Army private charged in the leak of U.S. secrets to WikiLeaks.

Manning was notified that he'd been chosen to be a grand marshal, but the offer was later rescinded. SF Pride officials called the offer an error.
