Bankers have reported the lowest number of delinquent bank credit card accounts in more than 22 years.

The American Bankers Association says the number of delinquencies -- accounts at least 30 days past due -- fell to just 2.4 percent during the first quarter of 2013.

That's the lowest level since 1990 and two points lower than the previous quarter.

Delinquencies also fell in 10 other categories, including personal loans and car loans.
