Police received a report of shots fired in the 3400 block of Wilson Avenue at 11:18 p.m.
According to police, a woman and three young children were struck by gunfire.
All four victims were transported to a nearby hospital, where one child was pronounced deceased.
The three other victims are reportedly in stable condition this morning, police said.
No suspect information has been released, police said.
