Amazon wants to fill 7,000 jobs before Obama visit

Amazon announced it has created 5,000 new jobs at its distribution centers in 10 states including California. Another 2,000 people will be hired for the company's customer service network.

Amazon is the latest tech giant to tout the creation of jobs in the U.S. Apple recently announced that it would make some Mac computers domestically.

President Obama is scheduled to visit Amazon's Chattanooga facility on Tuesday.
