Around 8:40 this morning, police say they spotted a stolen car with two people in it, and chased it onto the freeway. The Contra Costa Times is reporting the chase started at 33rd and West Streets. The vehicle crashed into the center-divide near Grand Avenue and the driver ran off.
The suspect was arrested a short time later. An ambulance was called for the passenger.
