Facebook delays changes to its privacy policy

MENLO PARK, Calif.

The social media giants said it would hold off on implementing its new policy until next week to give it time to review the changes before they take effect.

Opponents claim the policy changes make it easier for the Menlo Park company to use your name and picture in advertisements without your consent.

Facebook says the updated policy is in response to a $20 million class action settlement and that the rules haven't really changed. The new language just makes it clearer.
