Doctors are blaming an increase in the number of young people with back pain on all those hours spent hunched over iPads, laptops and smartphones.

Researchers have even named the condition iPosture.

They studied 3,000 people between 18 and 24 years old and found four out of five had some type of back pain in the last 12 months.

The survey by healthcare provider Simply Health also found people, no matter the age, spend as much time on their mobile device as they do asleep in bed.
