The county ran its first monthly test again Wednesday morning since upgrading the warning sirens during August and September.
The new system allows for voice announcements in addition to a siren. It also continuously self-monitors and alerts technicians to any malfunctions.
The tsunami warning sirens cover a 30-mile stretch of coastline from Pacifica to Pescadero.
