The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences honored him Saturday in San Francisco.
Spencer was named to the Silver Circle for his contribution to Northern California television.
He joined us at KGO back in 1999 after spending 12 years with Good Morning America.
Spencer has also hosted shows on HGTV, BET, and PBS.
