The pedestrian was struck shortly before 5 a.m. and was pronounced dead at the scene, CHP officials said.
The name of the pedestrian was not immediately being released.
The connector ramp and the far right lane of northbound Highway 280 were blocked for nearly two hours while authorities investigated the death. The lanes reopened by 6:50 a.m., CHP Officer Ron Simmons said.
