This week's episode of "Beyond the Headlines" looks at how smoking impacts our lives and our communities.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention:
* Every day nearly 4000 young people under 18 years old smoke a cigarette for the first time.
* Almost 13% of the adult population in California are currently smokers. That's more than 3,000,000 people.
* 69% of smokers in the United States want to quit completely.
The guests will address health implications and offers ways to quit.
