Animals at the Oakland Zoo are getting some sweet treats thanks to thousands of pumpkins leftover from Halloween.

Truckloads of donations from local pumpkin patches have been arriving at the zoo this week.

They're not just for eating. The pumpkins are also being used as food containers for the animals, puzzles for meerkats and toys for tigers, who enjoy tearing the pumpkins apart as much as eating them.
