Some 49ers players did some fine-tuning tMonday, but it had nothing to do with football plays. They teamed up with the non-profit Turning Wheels for Kids to help build 49 bikes for under-served children throughout the Bay Area.

Tight end Vernon Davis says the bikes will be a big surprise for the kids during a Tuesday football camp and wellness fair at Lick Mill Park.

"We're going to walk up on them and surprise them and they'll be extremely excited; I can't wait," Davis said.

Vernon Davis left Sunday's game with a concussion. He's being evaluated and hopes to play in Sunday's game in New Orleans.
