The Vallejo City Council is holding a special meeting tonight to address a surge in violence in the city.

Police say they've responded to *seven shootings in the last four days. Three people are recovering from injuries.

Last night, residents, tired of the violence, held a candlelight vigil to remember those shot and killed this month. The city council, tonight, will also be talking about cuts in police pay and benefits.
