Phuc Pham, 82, suffered multiple facial fractures and broken ribs. He's been hospitalized in intensive care ever since the December 24 assault.
Police aren't saying much about what happened, but it occurred off Park Boulevard near 9th Avenue and East 28th Street after 11 p.m.
