Couple leaves note for kids in attempt to sleep in

PASCO, Wash.

Samantha Manville told her kids not to wake up their parents before 10 a.m. The couple's children tend to wake them up at 7 a.m., asking all kinds of questions.

So the Manvilles also listed some answers in their letter, telling their kids they can have cereal and watch television, but they can't go to their friend's house.

That day the couple slept in until 10:06 a.m.

But Manville says the note isn't going to be a regular thing, "It was a one-time thing and we got away with it," she told ABC News. "But if the kids start to see it all the time they'll just start to ignore it."
