Report: Marin has second-highest rate of whooping cough in CA

MARIN COUNTY, Calif.

Officials with the California Department of Public Health say 173 Marin residents developed whooping cough, or pertussis, last year. That's second to only Nevada County.

One public health official blames Marin's high infection rate on parents who hesitate to get their children vaccinated.
