Hackers breached the security for crowdfunding website and stole personal data.

On Saturday, the company's CEO announced that the information was taken last week.

The data included addresses, phone numbers, emails, and encrypted passwords.

Kickstarter's CEO says security quickly responded and was able to keep credit card information safe.

He promises to make security changes, but warns users that they should change their passwords.

The company also responded to the data breach in a blog post. To read the post, click here.
