The boys basketball team at Bishop O'Dowd High School in Oakland is ranked first in the Bay Area and poised to compete for a state title. But even if the Dragons do win it, the lasting memory of this season could be what happened during Friday night's game against Berkeley.

Team manager, Lucas Cortez, who suffers from a rare heart defect, put on uniform #14 and got to play. Every time Lucas touched the ball, everyone went crazy, and it didn't take long for them to become unglued. A three point basket left many fans in tears.

After the game, Coach Lou Ritchie said he has never been so emotional or excited about a moment of basketball in his life.
