Woman claims she was robbed of Google Glass

SAN FRANCISCO

The Chronicle reports tech writer Sara Slocum was in a Haight Street bar Friday, wearing her Google Glass when someone tore it off her face. One of the suspects said she and her tech-type friends were quote "destroying the city."

Slocum chased down the suspect, who gave the device back, but they did get her purse, phone and wallet.

Google Glass, a small, head-mounted computer with a screen and camera, is still in its development phase and not yet available to the general public.
