Police say the girl handed out the brownies to five students on the way to Hayward High School Wednesday morning. Shortly after they arrived at school, several of the students got sick.
According to the initial investigation, police believe the students were aware the brownies were laced with pot.
They were treated and released to their parents. They're all expected to recover.
