Students build prosthetic hand for 2-year-old boy

Zaxton has been missing the three middle fingers on his left hand since birth.

To make life a bit easier, Zaxton's older brother Christian turned to his former high school robotics teacher, who asked three students what they could do. After several attempts they were able to build a working hand for the boy that opens and closes with a bend of the wrist.

The hand doesn't quite fit Zaxton yet, so they're making some changes.

The students are also raising money online to take their project to the Skills U.S.A. national competition in Kansas City this summer.
