Children will be able to get dental and vision screenings from 9 a.m. until noon at the Mayfair Community Center in San Jose.
And the California Dental Association Foundation is hosting a free dental clinic at the Solano County Fairgrounds in Vallejo. This event started at 5:30 a.m.
Organizers say people will be seen on a first-come, first-serve basis and there's a limit on how many people can be served.
In the past, the clinic had stopped receiving new patients by 2 p.m.
Patients can receive cleanings, fillings and have teeth extracted.
