WOODSIDE, Calif. -- A bomb squad has declared Woodside High School safe after school officials received a call this morning of a bomb at the school, a San Mateo County sheriff's spokeswoman said.
Deputy Rebecca Rosenblatt said the bomb squad said at about 11:45 a.m. that they found no explosive materials at the school.
The sheriff's office received a call from the school at 199 Churchill Ave. at about 9:20 a.m., Rosenblatt said. Parents of the school's students were notified at 10:21 a.m. that the school would be closed the rest
of the day.
