One lane of EB I-80 in Hercules reopened following crash

HERCULES, Calif. (KGO) -- The California Highway Patrol this morning is reporting one lane of eastbound Interstate Highway 80 in Hercules has reopened following a Thursday night traffic crash.

The CHP has issued a Sig-alert due to the crash, and there is reportedly police activity at the scene.

The crash was reported around 10:30 p.m. Thursday on the highway just west of state Highway 4, according to the CHP.

At least one person was transported to the hospital.

The incident initially blocked all lanes of eastbound Interstate Highway 80, and traffic was being diverted at Pinole Valley Road.
