SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Interns in Silicon Valley are getting paid very well.

High school senior Tiffany Zhong is the Chief Product Officer of the app Glimpse. She shared a list of top internship offers for aspiring software engineers. The numbers are staggering.

Fitbit in San Francisco is offering $9,300 a month

Mountain View based Quora pays $8,500 plus a $1,500 for a housing allowance.

Zynga is $8,000 a month.

Pinterest pays $7,500 plus $1,500 for housing.

An internship at Square is $7,500 and also $1,500 for housing.

A gig at Google - $7,000 plus a housing stipend.

Zhong's list matches what's compiled by the job search website Glassdoor.
