Oakland quiet following Warriors Game 7 loss to Cavs
OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- There were a couple of minor incidents outside Oracle Arena after Game 7, but for the most part Oakland was quiet.
Oakland police were prepared for a celebration, but even after the loss, officers made a point to be highly visible.

The Oakland Police Department was fully staffed Sunday and it was evident throughout the city.
On major thoroughfares, more officers than usual have been out on patrol. "We want to remind the community of Oakland that you're going to see officers out here interacting, and being with the citizens as we celebrate a victory," Oakland Ofc. Marco Marquez said.

But in the end, there was no victory, changing the dynamic completely.
There was one side-show in East Oakland that quickly disbursed and someone set off a Roman candle at the Oracle Arena parking lot.

Overall, Oakland was quiet and empty, which was disappointing for many Warriors fans who came out hoping for a street celebration. "I came with buddies here but, hey we tried and next year, next year though," Warriors fan Jay Narayan said.
"Right now it's just mellow and it's okay but, we'll make it happen next time," Warriors fan Aja Franco said.
It was a subdued and somber atmosphere, with everyone focused on the season ahead.
