Monday will be the final day for public comments on President Trump's review of 27 national monuments that could be downsized or eliminated.
Six protected areas in California are on the list - including Berryessa Snow Mountain in the North Bay and Giant Sequoia in Tulare County.
The monuments conserve hundreds of thousands of acres and were created by the last three Presidents.
President Trump ordered the interior department to re-examine whether the areas are designated appropriately.
