NASA released their best photos of 2016, featuring images of astronauts, missions, celestial events and other moments of everyday life in the space agency.

NASA's highlights include the return of recording-holding astronaut Scott Kelly, the launch of several rockets and the memorial of NASA astronaut and American hero John Glenn.
