PHOTOS: Volunteers building KaBoom! playground in San Jose

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- In celebration of the Super Bowl, hundreds of volunteers are coming together today to build a playground for kids in San Jose's Almaden neighborhood.

The playground will be located at the Blossom River apartments. KaBOOM! A national non-profit, is organizing today's event.

ABC7 is proud to be a part of the team, along with ESPN, our parent company Disney, the Housing Authority for Santa Clara County, and several players from the 49ers and Raiders.
