ANTIOCH, Calif. -- The Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office said deputies went to serve a restraining order and a move-out order in a domestic violence case around 12:30 Tuesday afternoon on Claudia Court.
Officials say the person they served had a weapon and came after a deputy. That deputy then fired at the man and killed him.
Antioch police, the sheriff's office and the Contra Costa County district attorney are all investigating.
