WALNUT CREEK, Calif. (KGO) -- A San Francisco judge says he'll consider a change of venue request in the effort to move a sexually violent predator out of a Walnut Creek neighborhood.

Charles Christman, 71, was placed into a home on Walnut Boulevard in January.

The decision angered neighbors and the Contra Costa County district attorney. They argued Friday that they were not properly notified about the move, ordered by a San Francisco Court.

The district attorney's office has asked a Contra Costa County judge to hear the challenge. Those arguments are scheduled for Tuesday.
