'Depressing Starbucks' reopens with brand new look
The coffee shop dubbed 'the most depressing Starbucks in America' has reopened with a brand new look.

HIGHLAND PARK, LOS ANGELES -- The coffee shop dubbed "the most depressing Starbucks in America" has reopened with a brand new look.

The Starbucks in the 6200 block of York Boulevard in Highland Park was just a drive-thru/walk-up location without an indoor area.

Customers in the area complained to Starbucks last August, saying the location didn't match the up-and-coming hipster neighborhood. Common complaints referenced the brown stucco walls, tiny windows and the concrete patio tables. Some customers said the building reminded them of a jail.

Now, the exterior of the location is now covered with reclaimed wood. It also features a larger patio and more outdoor seating with larger windows -- but still no indoor seating.

Starbucks wouldn't reveal how much the remodel cost the company. The makeover took just under a month.
