Former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown talked about Senator Dianne Feinstein's legacy Friday in the wake of her death.

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown talked about Senator Dianne Feinstein's legacy Friday in the wake of her death.

Feinstein passed away Thursday night. She was 90 years old.

Senator Dianne Feinstein has died, her office has confirmed. The former mayor of San Francisco is remembered as "a legend" and an "icon for women in politics."

Feinstein was San Francisco's first female mayor and California's first female senator, where she went on to serve six terms.

She gained a lot of support along the way, including from fellow former SF Mayor Willie Brown.
