VALLEJO, Calif. (KGO) -- Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo has relocated its two elephants named Liz and Valerie.

Both have been at the park since the mid-1990s.

Six Flags has been phasing out its elephants after deciding they would be better off in a more social environment, than in the confines of their habitat in Vallejo.

The two elephants are now at Wildlife Safari in Oregon, a 600 acre drive-through safari park.
