SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- An arrest has been made in the beating of teen at a San Jose mall.

Troung Son Huynh was arrested Thursday. The 25-year-old is accused of attacking Christian Rasner at Valley Fair Mall on March 11.

Police say Huynh and another man were following Rasner and confronted him outside the mall.

Police now say they do not believe the attack was gang related.

Rasner's father said Rasner woke up Wednesday morning. He is responsive, but still in intensive care. The extent of damage is still not known.
