SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Police are reporting that the driver of a San Francisco tour bus involved in a fatal pedestrian accident over the weekend has been cited with misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter.

The fatal crash occurred Saturday afternoon at the intersection of Post and Divisadero streets when the tour bus struck an elderly pedestrian.

The driver has been identified as 61-year-old Vincent Jones. Investigators say he violated the law that prohibits drivers from also narrating while driving behind the wheel.

The victim, 82-year-old Pieter Roell, a former teacher, died in the crosswalk when the bus hit him.
