SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Twitter is rolling out two new features designed to make its mobile app more user friendly.

Starting Tuesday, the San Francisco-based company is letting users send group messages and shoot video.

When people initiate a group chat, they'll be able to invite anyone who follows them into it, allowing conversations among other users who may not know one another.

Users will also be able to record, edit, and upload video clips through their phone's camera.
