VALLEJO, Calif. -- An undercover investigation conducted by the Napa Special Investigations Bureau led detectives to a marijuana growing operation in Vallejo last Friday, where they also found a loaded handgun and three-quarters of a pound of methamphetamine.

During the investigation detectives heard that one or more residents of the home were trafficking meth in Solano and Napa counties, and they obtained a search warrant for the home of convicted felon George Lee, 56, according to detectives.

While searching the home, detectives allegedly found a backyard marijuana grow, one pound of marijuana, a loaded Kel-Tec .32 caliber pistol and three-quarters of a pound of crystal methamphetamine.

That's enough to get roughly 3,600 people high, according to police.

Lee was arrested on suspicion of drug and weapons violations.

Marie Lee wasn't home at the time of the search, but she was later found and interviewed by investigators, who are turning their case over to the Solano County District Attorney's office for the potential filing of unspecified criminal charges.
