ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (KGO) -- A water main leak is to blame for leaving a gaping hole in the side of a building in St. Petersburg, Florida.
The hole is 50 feet wide and 25 feet deep.
According to the Tampa Bay Times, the leak was reported around 10 Wednesday night but couldn't be stopped.
The street started to give way around 5 on Thursday morning and not long after, a chunk of the building collapsed.
No one was inside at the time.
