HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES -- Harry Potter fans, rejoice! Hogwarts is coming to Hollywood.
"The Wizarding World of Harry Potter" is slated to open at Universal Studios Hollywood in spring 2016.
Like its counterparts at Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Japan, the Hollywood attraction will feature everything in J.K. Rowling's wizarding world, with Hogwarts castle as the focal point.
Guests can also hop on the attraction's signature ride, "Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey." The ride can also be found at the other locations, but in true Hollywood fashion, this ride will be in 3D-HD.

The flight-simulation ride will take guests on a journey through memorable scenes from the Harry Potter franchise, including soaring above Hogwarts, taking part in a Quidditch match, narrowly escaping a dragon attack and dodging a close encounter with the Whomping Willow, according to a news release from Universal Studios.
Another ride, "Flight of the Hippogriff," will debut as Universal Studios Hollywood's first outdoor coaster.
The attraction also kept foodies in mind with restaurants like Three Broomsticks and Hog's Head pub as well as carts serving Magic Neep and Butterbeer.
