Leigh Glaser visited San Francisco's Pier 27 to meet with some of the float makers of the Southwest Airlines Chinese New Year parade .
The parade takes place Saturday, February 23 in San Francisco and begins at 5:30pm.
Many of the floats are corporate sponsored, but the community floats and school floats are actually decorated by moms and dads right here in the Bay Area.

Pick up your tickets by Friday, February 22, 2008. If you are planning to arrive on Saturday February 23rd, tickets will be held for you in Chinatown at the Chinese Chamber of Commerce booth located at:
Grant Avenue & Pacific Avenue
between 9:30am-3:00pm.
