The Container Garden Display:
Running out of space? Don't care to garden too much? Gets some hints on how to create beauty in a small space from 6 groups of designers. Sproutopia:

Hot Plant Picks:
The California Horticultural Society once again picks out some glorious new plants that have just appeared in the trade. Cultivation information and experts on hand to give advice.

Bonsai:
The best bonsai club in the west once again demonstrates this ancient art with lovely specimens of great age, and demonstrations for the beginner. Tim Kong, a master Bonsai teacher, will also give classes in Sproutopia for tiny bonsai enthusiasts.

Seminars:
Check the seminar schedule for over 80 fascinating talks on everything from designing to the latest colors in the garden.

Health Pavilion:
Visit the Health Pavilion to check out that all important subject - the health of the gardener!

Flower Lobby and Display Cases:
Slow down as you walk through the lobby and take in expert floral design from CGC I, the lovely orchid display and the butterfly showcase from the San Francisco Conservatory of Flowers.

Wine Bars:
We've heard your requests! There are now three wine bars around the garden floor arena with fresh sandwiches and salads available for a light meal.

The Opening Night Party:
The Opening Night Party is a benefit for the San Francisco Botanical Garden Society at Strybing Arboretum. This exciting benefit gala will be held at the Cow Palace, on Tuesday, March 11, 6 PM until 9 PM, the evening before the Show's public opening.

The Opening Night Party is an enchanting evening where guests will be the first to see the magnificent display gardens while enjoying delicacies by Dan McCall Catering and a Martini bar provided by Grey Goose Vodka. All proceeds benefit the San Francisco Botanical Garden Society.
