Man robs gas station with golden gun

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO

At about 10:16 p.m. a male suspect reportedly walked into a gas station at Linden Avenue and Airport Boulevard and asked for cigarettes and cigars, according to the South San Francisco Police Department.

The suspect pointed a gun at the cashier while the cashier was turned around and told the cashier to open the register, according to police. The suspect fled on foot after taking about $500 in cash, a cigarette and two cigars, according to police.

The suspect is described as possibly a Pacific Islander between 19 and 20 years old, standing 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing about 170 pounds. He reportedly has black hair, a dark complexion and was last seen wearing a short-sleeve black T-shirt.

The Police Department is investigating the incident and asks that anyone with information call Officer Chon at (650) 877-8900.
