Two-alarm SJ fire controlled

Firefighters this morning controlled a two-alarm fire that burned a single-story house in San Jose, fire Capt. Barry Stallard said.

The blaze, reported around 1:20 a.m., appears to have ignited in the garage area of the house at 889 Feller Ave., Stallard said.

A second alarm was called when flames moved to the attic and roof areas, and firefighters controlled the blaze at about 2:25 a.m.

No injuries were reported.
