Victoria's Secret sued over bras

NEW YORK

Roberta Ritter claims her Secret Angels, Secret Embrace and Very Sexy Extreme Push Up bras gave her an itchy red blistery rash.

The 37-year-old's attorney says dozens of other women have had similar claims, and many want to be part of a class action lawsuit.

The law firm claims similar Victoria's Secret bras have tested positive for formaldehyde, a chemical the environmental protection agency lists as a possible carcinogen.

"I was just, just floored. I though, I have to come out with this. The can of worms has to be opened cause it's not just me, it's other people as well," said Ritter.

Victoria's Secret denies using formaldehyde in its bras.

The company released a statement saying: "We are sorry that a small number of people have had an issue and we want to help them determine the cause."
