Kids start apartment building food drive

Children in San Francisco are making a special effort to help feed the hungry this holiday season.

Four children, ages 8 to 13, started a food drive in their apartment building.

They hung posters in the hallway and went door-to-door collecting donations.

Residents managed to fill one large barrel for the San Francisco Food Bank, and the kids say they expect to fill more.

The children say seeing ABC7's food drive last week inspired them to start their own.

Remember, it's never too late to donate. Click here to learn how you can help End Hunger Now in the Bay Area.
