Students, teachers and parents marched around Cleveland Elementary School to express their frustration that their school secretary may soon be replaced.

Up to 60 union secretaries in the district may be bumped from their jobs by more senior union members, who are about to be laid off from their jobs with the city.

Most of the senior workers do not have experience as secretaries.

The district is filing a lawsuit to try and stop the process, which follows an 85-year-old city law.
